Final Countdown!

In about a month Bryan and I will welcome our baby boy to the world.  The anticipation is growing and so is the anxiety, but everything is in place and the nursery is basically ready so now all we are waiting for his for him to be ready to join us.  Just recently I have entered the wonderful world of swollen ankles and fingers, which is not a pleasant sight or feeling but it's only temporary. Also, I have been told a lot lately  that I am glowing....But lets be honest, I'm sweating, that's why it looks like I am glowing.  Not much else is happening around here, just preparing for the new arrival!

36 Weeks

Showered with Love

Within the last week I have had two showers and one more to go this coming Friday with my current group of ladies that I work with.  But, over this last weekend was the 'big' event for family and friends.  Mom and Ashley hosted the shower, Mom cooked some great food and Ashley was the decorator.  Ashley's bib/onesie decorating station was very popular, even more so for Braden and Jordyn who stayed later than the other children because they loved making the baby personalized clothing that he would actually wear, which they were pretty amazed that he was going to wear stuff that they had made for him.  Brent and Stacy had to drag them away from the table so that they could head out to another party that night. 
I think the final count was around 24 adults and 6 children/babies all there to share the soon-to-be birth of the first grandchild on both sides of Bryan and my immediate families.  Baby Morris has a room full of gifts to show for the showers and especially a dresser and closet full of clothes!  And, amazingly I have washed all the clothing, blankets, and gear and have put everything away...I guess this nesting thing is for real and I especially do not want to have the baby early and then have a mess of things that need to be done still.  I only took two pictures, hopefully others have some more they can email me! Thanks to all that were able to be there and celebrate the soon-to-be newest arrival in our family!

34 Weeks

It is almost time!  We are at 34 weeks this week and so far so good.  I have gained around 20 pounds and I feel it when doing the easiest of tasks, like walking up and down the stairs at home or walking from my car into work.
Along with baby news, Saturday Bryan and I also celebrated our 1 year civil anniversary at Bristol.  Next month will be our 1 year Belize anniversary date! Two anniversaries are better than one :).
