Oh what fun

Another eventful month has flown by, but October is going to have even more going on than last month for Liam.  October brings the beginning of Liam's new daycare, his first KSU v KU football game in Manhattan, first Halloween, and his Grandma Berkley's 60th birthday celebration!  Oh what fun October has in store for us.
Liam had his friends over for their monthly play date yesterday and he enjoyed every minute of it, especially getting some lovin from Kinley (Emily has pictures of that).

Did i mention he is teething? Already has two teeth, which has made him even more sleepy but still a super happy baby!

8th Annual Dinkel Days

This past weekend we kicked off the beginning of Fall with Grandpa Dinkel's 80th birthday at the 8th Annual Dinkel Days (aka annual Dinkel reunion).  This was Liam's first Dinkel Days and his first time being around all the Dinkel's, well almost all of the Dinkel's anyway.  Liam was fantastic!  He enjoyed observing everything and everyone around him and especially loved all the attention he was getting, he is just like his Daddy! :)

For dinner Saturday we feasted on deliciously smoked meats and all the fixins!  Sunday morning the kids made donuts and the adults made stuffed french toast and sausage....Great food makes camping even better...even though Bryan, Liam, and I opted for a cozy bed at Grandma and Grandpas.

Liam: 5 Months

Liam is now 5 months young. This last month has flown by and he is still the happiest little baby ever. Having to work full time is hard since he naps most of the evening and then goes to bed for good by 9:00pm, so our time together is on the weekends. Luckily Bryan gets to spend a lot of time with him during the week.  As of five months he....

• weighs around 17 pounds
• is around 27 inches long
• fits best in size 3 diapers, but can still squeeze into size 2
• wears 6 and 9 month clothing
• rolls over all the time and prefers to be on his tummy
• can do push ups like a pro
• can stand up while holding onto something 
• can sit momemtarily
• is holding his bottles on his own 
• is a jabber mouth, loves to talk and will talk to himself in his crib
• is still sleeping great, going to bed around 9:00pm and wakes up anytime after 7:00am and sometimes sleeps in until 11:00 when home with Bryan!
• Is starting to cut his first tooth...we hope this does not affect his happy disposition.
