Wednesday I decided to renovate our kitchen...Say goodbye to shiny oak cabinets, gold hardware, and laminate countertops!
Before:
Degreased all wood, removed hardware, and sanded main surfaces.
While I was at work Bryan sanded the cabinets. After work I primed the main surfaces in the kitchen.
Drawers & main surfaces painted #1 coat. Primed both sides of Doors. I have decided to paint the island a dark brown so I have not painted coat #1 on the island, yet.
I need to start organizing my kitchen!
Painted 1st coat on island and started organizing all the stuff that was in my drawers. Had to block off the island so the dogs would stop hitting it with their tails! I had to use tweezers to get Bailey's hair off!
Decided to patch the doors to make them hold knobs instead of pulls.
After: 2 coats of paint, new hinges, and new hardware....
