For Mikes Birthday and his and Moms anniversary we all went out to eat at
Michael Smith and then went to have drinks at Manifesto, a speakeasy type bar in downtown Kansas City (Crossroads). Manifesto is in the basement of 1924 Main.... They do not serve 'normal' cocktails because the ice is shaped based on the drink. So if you ordered a drink that is served in a tumbler type glass you would get a 'block' of ice kind of resembling a popsicle so that the ice does not dilute the drink. Manifesto takes reservations by way of texting and the only way you get their number is if you are given a card by someone that has been there before....they don't advertise their number.
