Easter 2013

For Easter Liam and I went to Russell to celebrate with the Dinkel's.  This was an exciting first Easter for Liam because it was his turn to smash the Lamb Cake, which is a tradition in our family.  Grandma always makes a Lamb cake for one of the great-grandchildren to smash up and since Liam was the youngest at this Easter he was the lucky one.  He was not too sure of it and didn't want to touch it, so being the great mother that I am I shoved his hand in the cake, gently of course, and then put it in his mouth.  That did arouse some interest in the cake, but not much.  He preferred to crawl over and through the cake rather than eat it.
